After spending 6 weeks in Jamaica it is hard to gather the inspiration to leave. Especially when you are made part of the family. ( Big ups and massive Love + RESPECT to the Higgins Family, Treasure and Citizen Paul- real tings Ya don know!)
All in all we circled the island twice. Mostly staying with Jamaican families and in guesthouses. To name all of the places and tell all the stories would take to long. But trust i we hit it up... all of it!
Beaches and more beaches, Blue Mountains, 9 Mile- Bob Marley´s birthplace and grave site, up in the hills and deep in the bush, farms, ganja fields, all of the waterfalls, the Blue Lagoon, jungles, and unlit caves-navigated by torch and splif.
Rebel Salute- 30 artists 12 hours and press pass access. Big ups to Stepwise for the backstage link! Music studio and One Love records in Kingston. Honors to TREASURE! Rocked the mic in front of a Jamaican crowd and came in second place. Props to Citizen Paul!
Jamaican food, Sound systems- Best New Years Party Ever!, music everywhere you turned and most of all ... the people. Again much love to all the Higgins, thank you again for making me part of your family. mi soon reach back ya hear. Bless.
