Green Turtle Lodge

Green Turtle Lodge is a bio sustainable beach resort with huts and camping. Sea turtles have been laying their eggs their for as long as people have inhabited the beach. GTL offers protection and refuge to these turtles which can be almost as big as a VW bug. We spent a week camping there in hopes we would get to see the turtles and help the eggs survive the many obstacle's nature and man impose. We didn't see any, but enjoyed some relaxing days swinging in hammocks and eating really good food, some of which we cooked on campfire. exploring the village and surrounding bays was also alot of fun.
