Mt. Amedzofe- Biakpa

We volunteered in this area planting Moringa trees in a small community. Assisted by an army of school children we planted over a hundred trees one day. These trees are used to harvest the leaf which has great medicinal properties, which means they will never be cut down. In an area where chainsaws echo and falling trees crash down from the greed and stupidity of the lumber industry it is good to know that these trees will remain standing. At the end of our time volunteering there i was put on the spot to make a speech in front of the village about the environment. I was very honored and very unprepared. After my speech i kept thinking of things i wanted to say. But at least the trees are in the ground and growing.
