So we arrived in Bogota after a 9 hour bus ride and immediately we were in love। "Yo, we gotta move here!" It is definately one of the dopest places I`ve ever been। It is a beautiful city mixed with old colonial architecture and the hustle of a big capital city with towering metropolitin buildings. Culture, Graffitti, hip-hop and reggae scene, insane food & restaurants , nightlife, great people, and more. You can almost feel the soul and history of the city, it reminds us alot of the bay in many ways. We did a daytrip to Zipaquira and a cathedral in an underground salt mine. We met a cool rasta couple that have a house in our favorite neiborhood, and they invited us to live with them for $150 a month between the two of us. WE HAVE GOT TO LIVE HERE FOR A WHILE- but first we have more traveling to do- so we will come back in a few months.
Tomorrow we are flying into the amazon and we are going to spend a few weeks on a riverboat and enter Peru. We are going to stay with some shamens in the rain forrest for a few days then we fly all the way to Buenos Aires to catch the last bit of good weather. Then our plan is to make our way back up to Bogota by bus through Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador. We`ll see what happens as plans tend to change but we will keep everyone on deck with all the updates of our adventure.
