Phnom Penh

Phnom Pehn is a fast pace city which is rapidly catching up after it's hard times durring the khmer rouge era. The capital and it's citizens have faced some of the roughest times that any people through out time have had to endure. However, the streets are alive and the residents are thriving in one of the fasting emerging cities in south east asia. There is a certain feeling that you get when walking down the streets which only a few decades previous were ridden with terror and some of the most evil acts on it's own people in history. All negative history aside, this was one of our favorite big cities in south east asia. The people are kind and eager to speak with foriegners. We were very lucky to have a friend there who brought us into his family and showed us the real Phnom Penh. We spent our time exploring, eating, and chilling with kham a lam and the famalam. Much respect to the up and comming prince of Cambodia. Thanks for everything.
