Batad
Batad is often described as the most picturesque village on earth and was once a UNESCO world herritage site for the "8th wonder of the world". What ever people call it, Batad is our favorite place in the world. It is pure magic, soul, and history. It is like stepping back in time, or walking through a painting. You can walk for three days and still be surrounded by rice terraces which have been there for over 2000 years. We stayed there for over a week and were not even ready to leave when we did. The worst part about it is that all of our best photos were somehow not saved properly and we were not able to put them on the blog.... stupid. Enjoy what we were able to save.
